“Main Street Revitalization” will be the focus of a talk by former Middleburgh Mayor Matthew Avitabile who successfully led such an effort during his recent tenure.
During Avitabile’s administration, Middleburgh started and completed a revitalization of Main Street - its business district that was devastated by 2011's Hurricane Irene. This included bringing back a pharmacy, grocery and more than a dozen other businesses and fixing severely damaged buildings.
Our Member Spotlight will be on Medicare expert Kristine Lindskoog who will highlight CDPHP options for older adults in the Capital District.
The Sycamore Country Club will serve up a buffet of eggs, bacon, pancakes, sausage, yogurt, fruit, coffee and juice.
Cost to attend is $15 for RCS CBA members and $20 for non-members. To RSVP by September 21, go to https://rcscommunitylibrary.libcal.com/event/8200856
